gasgasmi Posted June 15, 2010 Report Share Posted June 15, 2010 Have an '07 300 and my kick start shaft seal doesn't want to stay in place. It was working it's way out so I replaced it, new seal is doing the same thing. Anyone had this problem? The shaft seems to not have too much play, going to pull the cover tonight as I also have a gasket leak so maybe I'll find something inside. gasgasmi Posted June 17, 2010 Author Report Share Posted June 17, 2010 Turns out I have a cracked cover near one of the mounting bolts so maybe the new cover will hold the seal better.
