neo
Hi All, Sorry I'm Sherco advocate at the present time but I always like to know what I might be missing out on. From what I hear the 4T is dead (which is a real shame) but with an un-tuned eye I haven't notice much improvement with GasGas's since they brought in the new frame. Sure I can see there's been pegs and decals etc, etc... but what engineering advances have been made of late? Best of balance. Neo

Neo I think most of the recent Gasser changes have been motivated by cost savings, e.g. change from chrome/nickel plated frame to powder coated and from oval frame tubes to standard 7/8" round tube. Apart from that, just the annual BNG, oh, and a new airbox for 2011. Gassers work and get results. Why change?
arnoux
Hi Neo Just off the top of my head there has been a raft of small but innovative changes. I'm sure Jon and other will add to the list. Saw tooth bash plate - stop slipping backwards off obstacle and receiving a fail. Simple but extremely effective. Michelin X-Lite tyres Cylinder head with interchangeable head inserts * low compression for soft power delivery * standard * high compression for aggressive power, and tuneability at altitude Titanium header pipe standard New frame for 2011 New micro fusion welding technique on all frame welds. New AJP Integral rear brake mastercylinder/reservoir especially designed for Gas Gas New airbox Constant small improvements to Pro motor - seals, bearings, treatment of pinions, gears, shafts etc. Edited July 31, 2010 by arnoux
