Removing Crank Nut

Need to do mains on a 2000 290 i just picked up, i,ve undone flywheel nut by holding oposing crankshaft nut but how can i undo this nut, is it only poss with a clutch holding tool or is there another proven method i can use, another question whats the best way to decoke the downpipe, this one,s full of crap, looks like its been ran way to rich.

You can't do it with a clutch holding tool, you need to put the flywheel back on and get a flywheel holding tool or buy a impact wrench See Here

To decoke your front pipe set it on fire, works a treat but watch you don't get it to hot and discolour it.
