Living Without Trials Central

Hi Guy's,

Ringing a couple of "Stars" from the past yesterday, It was then that I realised that not everyone has a computer. The boys in question did know about Trials Central though.

OK, The problem is, how do I get to people without a computer, to let them know about The Classic Trials Show on the 21/22 of this month? Yes we have press coverage, and a radio add amongst others, posters, etc. But still there are people out there that would love to come along to the show, or even ride in the open classes, or show there bikes, but will not be aware of the show until it is over. (Being the first year).

So If you know a friend with a Classic trials bike, or have a past "Star", or even a "legend" from the trials world, living in your street, and you think they may not have heard about the show, where they can meet there friends and competitors from the sixties. Just let them know for me, it would be most appreciated. OH and do come along your self. Any other suggestions welcome.

Regards Charlie.

It's a tricky one, when I used to go to the TT races in the Isle of Man, it always amazed me when I got home how many people weren't even aware it had been on. Even people with road bikes were often unaware of the two week event.

Getting the right publicity is difficult and very expensive.

One thing you do need to do is push this on the front page. Mentioned this to Lee already. Banner ads are fine and when they're new they get loads of clicks, but over time people get used to them (which is why I suggest advertisers refresh their Ads every 3-4 months). One of the benefits of TC sponsorship is headline news articles. Sponsors supply me with latest news, offers etc and they go headline on the front page. Jitsie is good at this, but others not so good. You need to be doing this so even those who are aware, and maybe clicked on a banner a couple of months ago have it brought back to the front of their minds.

I look forward to an article with latest news on this event arriving in my Inbox imminently :agreed:

Hi Guy's

Hi Andy Lee is back this weekend he will contact you, what a time to go on your Hol's?

Thanks guy's for the input we will endeavor to get it right. The list of "Stars" gets bigger by the day, It will be published next week, but there is always room for more to come along. And I am still on the tracks of finding boys to complete some of the works teams. "There's a lot going on". BE THERE.

Regards Charlie.
