How Long On A New Stator?

Had tp take the walk of shame a couple of months back due to lack of spark.

New stator quickly fixed things but today again - no spark and the push back to the van.

Is it unheard of that a new stator can only last a couple of months?

If I'm expected to change the stator more often than the spark plug - then its time

to switch brands.

Will be on the phone tomorrow to the dealer who supplied the stator but after missing out on

a quality day today - I've been happier!

I removed the coil and tried it on a Sherco - no problems there but any other advice would be appreciated

Cheers

After many years of owning Beta Techno's, I bought a new 04 Rev3. The stator went and Lampkins replaced it free of charge.

Six trials later the replacement went and they replaced that free of charge. Top dealers but rubbish product. At that point I gave up and have kept away from Beta's ever since.

Just off the phone to dealer - must admit - hats off for service provided. New stator and cdi in post - return parts not required - if stator is at fault - refund will be given. Will see how long it holds together this time.
