dabber
OK, flights and ticket booked. Where is the best (most convenient) place to stay? Is it walking distance from the arena ro the city centre? Who else is off to watch?
social climber
Theres a Hilton within walking distance of the arena if you fancy splashing out (opposite my office as it happens...) Other options aren't so close. Travelodge and Holiday inn are taxi rides away but you're staying in the entertainment areas for a wee tipple or 12 after the event and they are cheap. The europa is a pricier option (the most bombed hotel in the world ) but it is a bit overpriced for what it is in my opinion. There is also a Jurys inn down the street from it, but again, it's more a taxi ride away though reasonably priced. Other s****ier options are the Mariott (great restaurant) and Ten Square (great bar!!) Having said that, a taxi from any of these places to the Odyssey is gonna be a fiver at most. Call round to the Apartment for a drink afterwards. I do the door there (no sportswear though ) for a fantastic view of the city centre lit up at night... dabarama
Days Hotel is a good enough, brand new, travelodge(cheapish)style hotel . 500metres from top nightlife and approx 1 mile (
dabarama
Try this site for info www.gotobelfast.com If you want party central stay in Benedicts Hotel or Madisons Hotel
social climber
Madisons, Yes, very good hotel... Benedicts is a nice hotel in itself, but the crowd it gets in the bar at the w/e's can be a bit dodgy, as is the area if you're coming back to the hotel late....
