nottoogood
Hey guys is this mormal? 2010 pro: My front brake line sits against the front fork leg ... and the travel motion is causing the black finish to wear a bit. It is not being scratched as the brake line is covered in soft plastic/rubber sheath. do they all do this? I tried twisting and turning everything but the guide seems to make the line rub in thiat one spot. Any help out there? Thanks.
jordi
If you have removed the front light and replaced it with a number board you need to have fitted a looped holder to keep the hose just that fraction away from the fork leg. richt
Mine was fitted with a guide loop attached to the lower fork clamp, One of the pinch bolts is longer and has a spacer behind it to keep it away from the fork.

Two standoffs on the lower leg keeps the hose straight and reduces friction in the cable guide. I got this idea when I needed to secure wiring on racing quads for stadium events. For the fork leg I use a short piece (say 8-10mm) of clear line. Simple and effective. The photo of the line/cable is just so you get the idea of how it works.
