hrcmonty
Is it just me, or have Ossa seriously put the exhaust pipe, Perfectly where your left leg is?
benbeta23
Looks to me that the footpegs are further back, Inline with the exhaust pipe, But it could be tucked away though. borus
good question but it is no problem even riding with just shoes and you have to wait to see the final production bike to see what they do with this area.
axulsuv
good question but it is no problem even riding with just shoes and you have to wait to see the final production bike to see what they do with this area. So I take it you've ridden one then ?
borus
yep, don't ask me to comment cause I'm an importer but I've toured the factory and road the bike in the mountains with Colomer. That pipe is not as close to your leg as it looks. cheers
hrcmonty
But what about the fact that area is where most people, correct me if i'm wrong. Grab that area with there hands to help somebody, or get the bike yourself out of trouble. I'm liking the bike, im not liking where that exhast is though. Is it something the factory have looked into. Fair doooooooos, it may ride nice. But have they done any thoughts about how people physically handle the bikes? Having said this, Gassers front pipe is in perfect place for nice burns when the bike falls on you. ! borus
yes, I asked about that area and was told a few ideas about it, but of course what they finally come up with in the production bike I don't know. What you're looking at is a prototype in the pic. sorry, I don't want to break the rules of this site, maybe I've already done so, Andy will have to let me know how much I can say without sounding like it's promoting. Just the fact it is a good question and riding it is no issue with the heat. I guess we'll all find out soon.
hrcmonty
Wicked, say no more then. Cheers
tony27
I notice that the pipe is oval where it passes close to the chain, perhaps they'll carry that on for longer which would tuck it away better Looks like the colours have been changed as well Edited September 15, 2010 by tony27
neo
I think you'll find that it's gonna be sweet .... I don't think that the designers would be so daft as to not know when their leg is burning Best of balance. Neo

laser1
If by chance they don't cover it with a trick looking CF shield, some heat tape may come in handy.
dan williams
Beta's are no slouch when it comes to cooking meat on the pipe either. The titanium pipe is even worse.
tony27
Did anyone get any more photos of it at the TDN? No shots of the lefthand side here http://www.trials.com.au/content/index.php...t&Itemid=
