cabby
An age old question but I'm gonna ask anyway. I have a chance at buying an older beta rev3 but the current owner isn't sure what age it is, how would I go about finding out ?
gjbiker
Saw the frame in half and count the rings or get the frame number and cross reference it HERE GJ

NAD1
I'd say best bet is to get frame number and ring John Lampkin. As you'll have gathered it's very easy to swap plastics and decals to make a bike look newer than it is. Lampkins will have the chassis details etc and can verify. Think as per below it's an 05 model but only based on plastics and stickers. I'd check under that sticker on the frame for a dent as well. Good luck

You can remove some of the springs from the clutch normally two (one opposite the other), this will lighten the clutch but may make it slip more dependant on the weight of the rider. Other than that you could excersice your left arm
