betanz
Hi guys, I am getting to the stage where I am starting to need to jump the bike around more, any ideas on how to set the forks up for this? and the shock? Cheers Brad.
nzralphy
Most of the jumping comes from technique rather than suspension settings...... if you have the suspension too soft and bouncy you will loose traction on the slippy stuff. Saying that start by checking you only have 1/3 sag at both front and rear when you stand on the bike. Adjust the springs until it is correct. Then adjust the rebound damping to just slow the stupid fast spring action.
samo
It is difficult for me to find out the full sag.. Could some body write the numbers for front and rear suspension (full sag) and for the rear, measure point. Thanks Samo Edited September 28, 2010 by samo
