I use a water/ washing up liquid mix, it will help the tyre pop on the rim, you may need up to 60 psi to get it to seat properly, watch the bead and make sure it's even round the rim. betanz Posted September 28, 2010 Report Share Posted September 28, 2010 I run a tube in the rear of my 01 rev 3 and it has a tubeless tyre and rim and I run very low pressures and ride rocks a lot and I have never had a puncture. jamwash Posted October 6, 2010 Report Share Posted October 6, 2010 most of the bikes i have owned ahve had tubeless tyres but have been fitted with tubes for extra security? if you want you can get an uber thick (whale foreskin) enduro tube that you would prob struggle to cut with a stanley knife.. prob not best for competition use but ok for tinkering around on... cheers Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
