penno350
Is there a standard/preferred size for the main jet in a Bing 84 as fitted to a 350 Sherpa. Mine has a 123 fitted, is that suitable or should I change it?
bogwheel
123 main is std - also 40 Pilot; 273 Needle. But in most cases are a starting point.

Very true i've never had a carb yet that didnt need rejetting to get the bike running "right". every bike is slightly different as are every riders preferences plus theres altitude and weather to take into consideration but at least thats a good place to start. Always worth bearing in mind when selecting a new carb what the cost and availability of spare jets is as they can cost more than a new carb if you dont have some already or know somebody who has
