wherry
Sounds like a Scott to me. http://www.trialscentral.com/forums/topic/8405-italjet-350-four-stroke/ Unless someone has just painted the 2T frame red at some point. Got a pic? Edited October 6, 2010 by Wherry

wherry
Sounds like a Piuma with a red frame Yup I'd say that's a good call. Some Italjet info Here.
pschrauber
That is one of the very late Italjets, a 1984 model I think, (but not sure). The last twinshocks around 1985 or 1986 had blue frames and a red seat. Before they looked like this, third generation, a Piuma with Betor forks: Edited October 22, 2010 by PSchrauber
zisko62
Photos attached Phil. hi, yes looks like the late "piuma" bikes with red frame! tell me the numbers stamped on the engine near the kick start shaft, on the casese (to find them out, you should take a look behind the rear brake cable) cheers
charliechitlins
Oooohh...minty! I saw a T-shirt awile ago that said: It's an Italjet thing...EVEN I don't understand.
manney
Hi All, I hope these numbers may help with the identification of the bike. I will post a photo soon. Frame# T230339 DMG50827OM Engine# S1M218295 Thanks. Phil. I have an Italjet T250 which I've owned for 15 years now. I bought it when I was 17 and used it to ride around our farm on. Its been it the back of a shed unused for many years but I have recently dug it out and decided to do some research on its history. That research has led me here and I was shocked to find out that our frame serial numbers are one digit apart! My frame is : T230338 DMG50827OM Engine no: S1M218247 Some time in the past my bike has been painted blue which I know is not the original paint as its a poor job. Under the blue is red like the bike pictured above. Under the red is green as shown in the picture posted by pschrauber. I have the same front frocks as pictured above but my brake hubs are white as in pschrauber's picture. Im really not sure what colour my bike should be. Can anyone help?
