trialsmm
I've come back to Beta, from a '95 Techno, '99 GG and '02 Sherco, I just picked up a very nice used '04 250 from Ron Commo jr. Will be looking forward to a long term relationship with my Rev3!

amiller
The 04 Rev is without a doubt the best bike I have ever ridden. I think you will be very happy. I have had my 05 since November and it still just sits in the garage. I have not even started to set it up. Im sure it is as great bike but I still have my 04 and I hate to give it up. trialsmm
The '95 Techno I sold is still going stronge and still looks almost new! Since I don't ride that much and don't live in rock country a bike will last me a long time. The '99 GG321 was a great bike and provided several years of problem free riding. The '02 Sherco was very smooth and has a nice neutral riding feel, no problems at all. The steel frames have a tendacy to develope rust spots if mosture was hiding in unseen areas. I was always making sure areas under the tank and such were clean and dry. I think all the modern trials bikes are great but some fit riders better than others? In looking for a "new used" bike I considered the aluminum framed bikes for long term owership. Yes I considered a used Montesa because of the Honda name. But the bottom line, I liked the way the Rev3 turned, fully adjustable forks, linkless rear shock, Mikuni carb, repackable muffler, smooth motor, and especially that beautiful scuptured frame! I haven't had a chance to rider it our practice sections in Roberta, but what little time I've had on the pegs, left me with a big smile:) Edited February 3, 2005 by trialsmm

charliechitlins
Betas never really agreed with me...until I rode an '04. Very sweet bike. I'd own one!
amiller
There is still over a foot of snow at my house Stu. Trials bikes are good but they dont go to well in that. We have also just spent several weeks well below freezing. Got The Motorama in late February. First event of the year. Looks like someone is wanting my 04 at that event. It will be my first sad parting with a trials bike. Aaron
stuessenhigh
Ah..yes..I should have thought of that.!...dont be too sad to say goodbye to the 04 though...'cause them 05's are even better I reckon
wonder boy
Have to say, the Beta 05 is an amazing bike to ride. I used to ride a 315R 2001 Montesa and I couldn't believe how easy it was to swap bikes, it felt like home when i was riding the Beta (if you know what I mean). Anyway, would like to say you've made a good chose Mick Gavin Edited February 4, 2005 by Wonder Boy
stuessenhigh
The thing that amazed me Wonder Boy, about the 05 is how amazingly easy it is to flick the back end around...(on level ground)..something I've never really been able to do very well. Fantastic bike...hope I can get one one day!
trialsmm
I'll keep it short and sweet! This is the best, sweetest, smoothest bike I've owned. The only thing I had to do was adjust the clutch to my liking. Throttle response is just right for me, slow and very smooth. Power when and where I need it. It's the first bike I've owned that I wasn't disapointed in and looking for mods to make it "right" for me. It's just perfect for me! Now all I need is more time to ride! sirdabsalot
Hey Aaron-- If that '05 is in your way you can store it at my place. I'll even cover the shipping. Cheers, Richard
