ebordraw
Just fitted a Michelin X light to my bike and was wondering whether the forum members would advise running a bit of silicon sealant (or bead sealer) around each bead to hold the tyre in place or whether just to leave as? t-shock 250
What problems are you having with the tyre?
ebordraw
No problem just the tyre I took off was slipping off the rim at low pressure so I did n't want to be in the same boat with the new one. Just wondering if a bit of sealer was normal or naked tyre to rim was the norm?
ormplus
the tyre allways moves on a tubeless rim,so sealer wont be any good.if you marker pen it from tyre to rim and do a trial ,it wont line up at the end of the trial.

Ok so I presume the old one dropping off was down to it's age and it being stretched. Thanks for the help.
