Guest coflet
I notice that the gas gas engine is also fuel injected like the montesa 4RT. injection takes some of the basic maintenance away, (carbs etc) so if you have a problem you may have to go to an authorised dealer, who will plug it into his laptop to diagnose a problem ,which could easily be sorted on a carb, OH !!!!! he will also charge you for his service.Lets face it if your car/van breaks down we really dont have a clue.Lets hope trials bikes dont go down this road !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PS this gas gas engine will be out of a current enduro or crosser
jtt
PS this gas gas engine will be out of a current enduro or crosser Not even, I think it was an early prototype of the 4T Enduro powerplant. The production ones look quite different.
ba baraccus
Slightly off topic but didnt gas gas develop a fuel injected 2 stroke? Now thats the way to go not these heavy complicated 4 strokes!!
peter_gasgas
I bet GasGas have a few 4strokes from each factory (Sherco, Montesa and Scorpa) and learn a bit from each one. Thats what they'll do if they have anything between their ears anyway. They had better start soon... the rest are going to have a big advantage over them! And lets hope they have less PROblems than the Pro 2002.
luke
I heard a rumor that they can lower 2 stroke emissions???
gasgas
I want to bring this one to the top again. Just recently a dutch trial rider mentioned that they are still bussy with that sidevalve engine. Does somebody know more or is it a hoax. gasgaspunkuk
is it that someone had said "you must make 4 strokes" or have they said "u must get emmisions below a certain level" ?
