manx2day
if memory serves it may be a floating rear disc. My first GG, think it was a '95 250cc, had a floating rear disc. They rattle a bit. But could be wrong!

As I remember, my 96' JTR came new from the factory with a few dabs of clear Silicone at the disk/hub/washer junctions to dampen the rattle so if it bothers you, that might be a fix (at least for a while). smalley250
Yep my JTR was a rattler to and the silicone on it helps for a while. Dont worry im sure it be fine after all its old bike and id expect a rattle or two but the engines were good old beasts back then.
rockyrider
My front disc started to rattle last weekend,at first I thought it might be loose but realized it was a full floater. No worries, I may try that silicone fix too.
