Cheers cant get off the sofa If you have a weak back then consider getting a proper orthopaedic support belt (looks like a corset with steel ribs in the back). I have had to wear one for years and it makes the difference between riding and not riding. I am surprised that more people don't wear them since they wear all sorts of other protective equipment. Even when my back feels O.K. I wear it as a prevetative measure. When you are getting old you can't always exercise your way back to your youth, you just have to accept a few compromises if you want keep riding. Hope your back gets better (alcohol is one of the best muscle relaxants when taken internally and is kinder on the stomach than many of the pills).
