broony
Just about got the Bantam finished and was wondering what tyre pressures to run.My bike is a D7 running Pirelli tyres,I was giving a figure of 6psi front and 3/4psi rear, but is it ok to run them that low with tubes?? cheers the noo Brian
old trials fanatic
Pressures sound about right but why did you choose Pirelli ? terrible tyres for trials IMHO. Personally would always use Michelin front and IRC rear at the pressures you state. With Pirellis you could probably let all the air out and still get less grip than decent tyres at road pressures. Good luck.
schweizmeister
I would go with 7 & 4 for normal use, Brian. Shouldn't have any problems. 6 & 3 or 4 if you know the trial ground is forgiving and you are not likely to hit rocks hard. Bear in mind the accuracy of the tyre pressure gauge you are using. oh... and watch out for tyre creep
broony
Went for the Pirellis as I,m new to the sport and didn't know any better,If they are not that great I'll not know any better till I get used to the bike and its lack of both speed and power. Only cost me

bobtlr
its the best tyre for classic trials it grips better in mud and on slimy rocks in summer it gets a bit to soft but thats not so bad best regards bob
old trials fanatic
Wear rate is the best too. Grips well even after 6 months wouldnt use anything else on the rear.
