aardy
I think these are absolutely superb. Some people have put an awfull lot of thought and their own creativity into making both of these bikes. Both owners have been totally honest about what they are and are not trying to con anyone into buying some rubbish or trying to pull a fast one in any way. I feel it is a bit harsh saying they are heaps of .... I just wish I had the amount of dedication to make bikes like these. ok they are not going to win any beauty contest but then thats in the eye of the beholder ! ! belldane
I tend to agree with Arrdy. Not many people out there are cashed up to go and buy the latest trials machines and in some cases you have to improvise. I remember the first bike I built from bits and pieces. An old Bultaco frame, Montesa motor, Honda seat and all the other bits from God knows where. It was not pretty to look at but it beat the pants of many other other modern bikes. Wish I had it now but sold it for next to nothing about 35 years ago. Currently working on a Cota frame with a honda 250 4 stroke. See what happens. May come to nothing but hey it's fun and that is what is all about isn't it? Why fork out good money when you can build something yourself. bigwilly
For some strange reason my shody laptop ain't letteing me open the links. Just for the record though I think mongrel bikes are always a bit special especially when well thought out but even the bodged ones raise a smile. It's not all about standard spec for me and many others who are hard up too. We've just mounted a dt175 mx lump in a little Yam RT100 chasis
