barryroads
Dear fellow motorcycle trials enthusiasts, I would like to take this opertunity to bring you up to speed with recent events regarding my friend Jon Sands, (big boy) and his stolen Beta evo 250 2010. The bike was spotted for sale on eBay and once the confirmation was made, the police insisted on handling the situation. Unfortunately the seller sold the bike early on eBay for cash before a trap was placed. Jon was told that the police would visit the ebayer and interviews him about the sale, please now take a breath and read the following. 1) The seller told the police he bought the bike from an auto jumble at Kempton Park for cash. 2) No receipt no names etc. 3) The guy that bought the bike with held his number, and again no receipt or name or anything. 4) The police forgot to ask how much the bike was purchased for at Kempton. 5) Just by coincidence we know a certain twin shock specialist, who had a stand at the Kempton show, who confirmed there is no way a 2010 evo 250 was for sale. The moral of the story is, if we all don
hrcmonty
Here is a true story for you. Years ago, police were tipped off, a raid on a motorcycle shop in pudsey was going to happen. The Plod set up Surveillance on the shop. Later that night sure enough infront of their eyes, a van reversed upto the big showroom window. Watched the lads get out, go through the roof. Grind the chains off. Smash the massive windows, load up ZX6's, Gixxers etc. Jump back in the van. And then followed them to pull them over red handed..... yeah Job well done! Nope they lost them!!!. Yes the Plod sat watched it all happen, then gave chase and lost them!!!!! Classic!!!! So yes, we need to watch out for our fellow friends and help each other out.
