bhg
Hi I have been thinking about building a Mini Majesty for some time, and have the TY parts that I need. Is the Mini Majesty frame smaller than a standard TY175? (and suitable for an adult rider?) Does it really make much difference to the handling characteristics? By how much should the swinging arm be extended? Has anyone had any problems with building one, or issues with owning it?
geebee
Hi Many years ago I built a mini majesty using all new parts. The main changes were to shave the front of the barrel and modify the exhaust to fit the frame, We then extended the swinging arm by about 25mm and moved backwards and lowerd footrests. To suit the extra length we fitted a TY250 rear mudguard. Decent shockers were also fitted. My lad rode the machine in B class before switching to a mono.
