bob
I was given a Montesa Cota 200 for my birthday about 6 years ago by my Uncle. The bike was in 'ok' condition but was abit hard for me to ride when i was only ten so it went back into the shed. It was there until summer this year when i decided to try and ride it - bad idea. It went very well for a while, but then the engine suddenly started rattling alot. The bike therefore pobably needs an engine rebuild to find the problem. Gearbox is fine and so is everything else exept wheel and swingarm bearings etc, t just needs tidying up. I got a new Beta at christmas and the bike is cluttering up the workshop so I want to get rid of it. Unforturnately this is all I know about 'old' trials bikes so i would like an idea of how much it is worth, considering its condition. I dont know what year it is or any history of the bike, but i have the handbook so i may be able to find more info in there. So... How much is it worth? and is anybody interested in buying it? bob
I was going to do it up but i just don't have the time and i thought that by the time i had done it up it would not be worth it. I dont really know too much about engines either.
