atorrini
Thanks, maybe I was grumpy when I read it. This was very helpful as well. http://www.trialscentral.com/forums/topic/28332-shock-rebuild-in-us/ I wonder is the flatter fox valve is better to stay clear of the linkage. Actually I found a deal on a 2011 EVO shock, so I'll do this at my leisure.

Actually I found a deal on a 2011 EVO shock, so I'll do this at my leisure. While the fox valve will work i have been told that they are not as reliable as the schrader type valve. You will mount it facing towards the front of the bike so as not to interfere with the linkage. There is another reason to use the Schrader valve which you will discover later. Set the valve at a steep angle like the picture and glue it in with loctite blue. You do not want the threads to leak and you will not remove the outside of the valve again.
