Yes they look like the bearing shells you see on crank shafts in car engines... but they are constantly lubricated and I can't see how any lube could get inside these new things.

Think I'll wait 12 months or so to see how they hold up on the 2011 bikes before investing in these new dogbones myself.

I doubt I will run out and get new bones simply for the sake of change myself.

But at the same time, I see an possibility here. The bones are now thicker, so you can grind off a couple grams!

Or just make them out of TI, at half the thickness and bulk of originals! :rolleyes:
