spokey
TIP # 346 - Never buy a bike from a man who lives near the seaside ... so, I start on the front end last night, knowing I need new head bearings ( getting that large alloy bolt out of the top yoke was fun - NOT ... new bolt now required ) but even worse was the two screws holding the brake pads in - nicely rounded off inside thanks to previous owner ( insert appropriate swear word here to describe said muppet ) managed to hammer the next size up allen key in and get them both out ... so now I need two new ones - problem is, they are not listed on any drawings as part numbers, so anyone any ideas where these are used ?? thinking I may need to hget a couple of M6 stainless and machine the heads down to fit, but not keen on this as machining invariably means using a file ... Thoughts gratefully recieved ... Spokey
