hi can anyone tell me how i can find out what year my beta is i was told it was a 2004 but it has grey and red plastics on it the same as 2006 model thanks.

I think you've got a 2005 - rear fender on 06 was black.

Judging by the number of Betas advertised with newer model plastics I would say that mudguard colour is not a reliable way to identify year.

theres no need to worry, there wont be a spark to ignite all the petrol, and even if there was all the water leaking form the case would put it out.
