bigfoot
I was reading a interesting article in a quarterly YOU HAVE USED WORDS OR A PHRASE WHICH ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THIS WEBSITE. PLEASE DELETE YOUR POST/TOPIC. DO NOT TRY TO CIRCUMVENT THE FILTERS IN PLACE ON THIS WEBSITE here in the UK two issues ago on a guy who built an enduro bike with bits from some enduro bikes and a 4RT. Not only had he done a great job but its looked like just the thing for many enduros. I've seen trials bike do well in enduro but never quite enough what's needed is something in between like the bike in the article. If someone sold such a bike I'd be very tempted to give it a go. I'm sure I'm not the only one looking for a good cross over.

copemech
I would guess it could stand to loose a good 25-50 pounds!
toofasttim
I went away and had a thunk about that Mont. I reckon it would need to be a bit longer for stability at speed as well as needing an 8 speed or dual ratio gearbox. Apart from that it's about right. I remember that in the 70's in the NE states of the US the Bulto alpina was the weapon of choice. The guys could choose between the Frontera and the Alpina (if they wanted a Bulto). Reason was that enduros up there at that time were bloody tough.
