Beta Supertrials seat

Silly questions: how do I get the seat off? I took off the nut under the rear fender. It looks like the white side panels come off with the seat, but I can't figure out how to pop them off. I don't want to use too much force and break it. Suggestions?

Also, which one is the gearbox oil fill? Its gotta be one of the two bolts near the petcock.

Anyone have a manual for a 1992 Supertrial?

Not sure about the seat but on a lot of bikes after the retaining bolts are removed the seat slides back out of a tab/loop type deal so try sliding it backwards. It might also be the seat and fender come off as a unit.

The filler is the aluminum bolt with the hex hole in the top. I think the other bolt is the spring/plunger that indexes the shifter cam.

Where in NH are you?

Thanks. The seat won't slide back, tried that. I think I need to pop those side panels off, as the front of the seat is bolted to them and theres on way to get to it. They're on there tight, though.

I'm in Raymond. Been riding the Beta around the yard for a while now. Might head to HopkintonEverett saturday if my cold goes away.
