I don't know the score with White Bros, but recently the big 4 have been wielding the axe big time to the ones who have not been performing, in many cases not the dealers fault. M/cycling is a leisure pursuit for most not a necessity. Many showrooms round the country are full of mint low mileage bikes. It gets more difficult and expensive to get on the road and take a test etc. The trade is struggling but there are parts that can't keep up with it.

On the road side of things it is a seasonal pursuit, it never used to be and therefore a lot struggle when the sun doesn't shine.

A lot of dealers have down sized in recent years to survive as have other businesses. Things aint what they used to be. Money is tight. There is money out there and people are spending it but it isn't in the lavish ways of recent times.
