mick75
Hi all i have just bought a mont 314r cota for my nephew for xmas it has been stood for quite a while but is in good order, right now here is the problem it starts fine but as soon as the choke is released the bike stalls, there was a tear in the rubber between the carb and air filter so i have done a temp repair while i wait for a new one, but i cant see this being the problem so i need your advice, the bike runs great as long as the choke is out, just wondering if it could be the air fuel mixture screw, it is the first mont i have bought normallyhave gassers so its all a bit of a learning curve would welcome any help thanks! sherco29
Your pilot jet is probably plugged up. Tear the carb down and clean her up.
