timp
should have explained it a bit better really, I meant trhe first of new designs always tend to have a lot of problems, As you say like the Evo did at first with the frames/Swingarms cracking, But the Sherco had big problems with the Fuel tanks, & can also remeber hearing about big carburetion problems as well, & also a few other problems. Not saying there a bad bike, They just suffered a few problems, At last years SSDT, Caby went through a fuel tank a day or something like that? What a load of rubbish. I rode round near Cabestany all week and I don't remember him having any problems with fuel tanks. If your fuel tank is leaking in the Scottish you have a problem. Some of those moors go on for a few hundred metres My 2010 sherco is on its original tank and has never leaked. Any faulty tank was replaced under warranty. TheDBF, don't be put off by rumourmungers who havn't a clue!

Well It was on hear that someone said caby had been through a fuel tank a day!, But I'll tell you now there has been a hell of a LOT of people who have been through them tanks, & Browny has had his fair share of them as well, If you think for 1 minute that a complete new design of bike has no problems, You're the one who really doesn't have a clue. ormplus
it was only the very first batch with fuel tank problems.the were not baffled and they were just stitched together not welded but never had anymore trouble after being modyfied.
