200 Carb

I've had a problem for a while now with my 200 not ticking over, tried the obvious screwing in tick over screw! It runs mint but does not like ticking over. I've tried a different carb and it will tick over fine, so you would think the carb is worn. But even using slide and needle from worn carb will still tick over in the different carb.

Possibly worn body then?

Which is best oko or standard dellortro. Any body tried the cheaper oko carbs off flebay?

Carbs seem to be pretty much an over looked part, for some reason people think the same carb should last for 100 years without changing or maintaining them.

I never did warm to the oko,for me its dell all the way, must be something to do with italian good's you know Gucci handbags and all that.

The slide and needle won't affect the tickover, you should be looking at the idle circuit; it could be as simple as a blocked or partially blocked idle jet or the idle mixture screw being set wrong.
