I now ride a Rev 3 2 stroke but would like to change to 4-stroke. Is there someone who have experience with the 4-stroke scorpa? Greathings Luc The belgium rider. It's a brand new "2008" but i can ask to try it. In Belgium there is not al lot of nature to ride and where i live you best ride a silent bike iff you dont wont troubles. kamiture Posted January 8, 2011 Report Share Posted January 8, 2011 Hello I have SY2500F-2008. If you use it for the section trial, it will be one of worst choice. If you use it for to ride in nature field,It will be not too bad as the choice. SY2500F has very good stability.It will make you relax in the field. However, it is a characteristic in which you will be perplexed in the section. A bottom end torque more than the necessity is also similar. Unless it is just an amazing price, it shouldn't be your first choice. My first 4 stroke was the Scorpa SY175F, followed by the SY250F, and then a Beta Rev4T. The Beta was by far the best of the three. The SY250F is just tall, top heavy, and heavy in general. Despite Scorpa's best efforts, that is just not a trials engine. Despite Scorpa's best efforts, that is just not a trials engine. Thank you for the advice. Thursday i'm going to a local Beta and Sherco dealer where i poussible can ride the Evo 300 4-T and the Sherco 290. The Evo seems to be very nice but the price is i gues way to high for me. jmo Posted January 17, 2011 Report Share Posted January 17, 2011 I'm considering a 250F too, but for slightly different reasons - rather than an out and out competition 'trials' bike, I'm considering one as the basis of an 'extreme' trail bike - that is fit a much larger tank/seat unit (say 8/9 litres) and a low but comfy saddle, and use it on the trails... Call me shallow I know, but I'd prefer the lower and stripped down nature of the 'long-ride' style SY250F, I'm just thinking just with a custom tank and slightly better seat? I reckon it would be more of a compromise as a trail bike of course, but be edgier and even more nimble off road?
