alan Posted January 8, 2011 Report Share Posted January 8, 2011 before i take the cover off, has any one experienced this ? when kicking the bike over the kick start lever does not return fully home. hondanut Posted January 9, 2011 Report Share Posted January 9, 2011 i have had exactly the same thing on my xl185, there could be 2 things:- the return spring is damaged or broken or the kick start gears are damaged and jaming. the first one is quite an easy fix, the second could be expensive as if the kick gears go too far they can make a hole in the inner casing. i totaled up my damage and it came to over Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
