Is it possible to buy a bolt on kit,are do you need to cut and weld if so does anyone make brackets ready to weld onto the frame. Thanks in advance Hi Abbifin, To my knowledge no-one other than me had done footrests for the Beamish. I had a batch of larger ones made using the old mounts. I don't think anyone makes a bracket to lower them. You may like to invent something or commission someone to do it for you and have a batch made to sell as I am sure you are not alone. beamish owners club Posted January 20, 2011 Report Share Posted January 20, 2011 From my experience people buy the Beamish because it is a relatively cheap twinshock. Consequently they don't really want to spend any money on it and if they do they want it original and don't ride it. As you know the footpegs on the Beamish are very small and extremely slippery, I had 10 pairs made of proper chrome plated pegs that were specific toe Beamish and nothing else, they had a much greater footprint and were a quality item.
