There will be those that know a lot more about it than me, and I know it all ended in tears but.... The cars were insane, the crowds were even more insane - what a motorsport spectacle. And the sound of the Audis - for me just fantastic. Edited to add. The final few frames of the video show why it couldn't carry on like that. Obvious now of course, if not at the time... Can you imagine just how scary the cars would have been nowadays if group b hadn't been killed, the drivetrain improvements etc that have occurred since would allow alot more of the power to be used Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Those Portugese were famous for their favouritism..if they were against a particular driver they would would flag him down en-mass to distract him or throw gravel on a tarmac bend...what goes around comes around.
