240 bottom yoke bearing

Im having trouble fitting the bearing to the bottom yoke, has anyone got any tips, its real tight and i dont wat to damage the finnish of the yoke. its properly pi**ing me off now..

Bearing i a 32005,

I did one of these last week on a sherco..

I put the yoke in the feezer overnight to get it really cold.

Then just before fitting i droped the bearing in boilling hot water for a couple of minutes.

The bearing fell into place easy..

Blew all the water off with a air line and regreesed with water proof greese.

Al went well for me..Hope it works for you two..

Cheers guys, got it on in the end. it was very very tight, i used a bit of pipe and with a good bit of persuasion from my yorkshire spanner it seated nicely.

Glad you got it on ,but for next time consider putting bearing in the oven at 180 c and it should just drop on.

That would involve me having to ask how the oven works, if i knew how the oven worked i may be forced to cook something..
