godzilla Posted February 1, 2011 Report Share Posted February 1, 2011 (edited) Im having trouble fitting the bearing to the bottom yoke, has anyone got any tips, its real tight and i dont wat to damage the finnish of the yoke. its properly pi**ing me off now.. mikee Posted February 1, 2011 Report Share Posted February 1, 2011 (edited) I did one of these last week on a sherco.. I put the yoke in the feezer overnight to get it really cold. Then just before fitting i droped the bearing in boilling hot water for a couple of minutes. The bearing fell into place easy.. Blew all the water off with a air line and regreesed with water proof greese. Al went well for me..Hope it works for you two.. ormplus Posted February 1, 2011 Report Share Posted February 1, 2011 puting it on with a metal pipe(exhaust pipe etc).if you dont have anything try a fast fit garage , go with a hacksaw and cut of an old piece of exhaust the same size as the bearing.
