chantalbc
Hi there, in preparation for the spring, I want to clean and repack the exhausts on our heavily used Beta Rev's..one is a 2005 the other a 2007 and well as they were both bought used about a year ago, I dont know if they have ever been cleaned? I have never packed a muffler and was wondering if there is anything in aprticular I should watch out for? I assume cleaning te parts is best done by soaking in Gasoline or some heavy duty degreaser? Any suggested packing material? well pretty much any advice will help Thanks... And ...shout out to Dan Williams for posting the detailed info on Carb cleaning...its printed out in the shop next to the bikes!!!...Saved me and my carb!!! totalshell
could nt be easier.. nip down your dealer and get the cartridge no need for bits of string etc.. whip off the silencer remove the plastic end cap pull out all the gubbins clean in petrol, dry it off cut about an inch off the end of cartrideg and slide it in end cap back on silencer back on all done in less than 10 minutes.. perfect..
