stuessenhigh
Hi all... Just thought some of you might like to feast your eyes on this bike I shouldnt really post the pic, 'cause the owner doesnt know I even took it, but the guy who was servicing it, reckoned he wouldnt mind. Its been here in Hong Kong since it was new apparently..pre war engine and post war frame I was told by the mechanic working on it. Pretty nice eh!...wish it was mine! eric23
That is one beautiful machine! Green with envy. There's just something about a thumper that gets me going. A little off topic... Has anybody watched the new movie out "The Motorcylce Diaries"? It's a biographic film about a motorcycle tour Che Guevera took in the 50's riding a Norton. For my taste the film kind of dragged, the acting was pretty good and the Norton stole the show.
stuessenhigh
ERIC..I'm green with envy too...and apparently the guy just WONT sell it....cant blame him. Also saw the film Motorcycle Diaries...amazing I thought,...and a real lesson about life to us all!...shame the Norton only got the first half of the film! eric23
Stu, I got a bit upset when they ditched the Norton too. They weren't too keen on maintenance either. Kind of wanted to shake them and let them know they should give the old girl some TLC.
stuessenhigh
Yep..they definately gave up on the Norton too easily. Nearly brought a tear to my eyes
