bigman
Hi Guys I am thinking of updating the look of my bike abit within the next few months, The frame is starting to look abit tatty with a few small rust marks, so I am looking to get that sprayed, I was thinking at the same time I might fit some newer plastics, Can any one tell me whether the fitment of say an 06-07 mudguard (with the vents) is the same as the 01/02 I have fitted now? I realise i would have to put some mesh over the vents on the airbox side, I just think that these mudguards look MUCH nicer than whats on the bike now. Thanks Adam

shedco
If you do a search on here, a guy did fit the newer mudguard to an earlier bike. When you see what was involved, it is easier to sell the bike & buy a newer one!!
copemech
01-05 should interchange, latter available in silver with holes if you like. Ck the Splatshop website for info. '05 was a good looker chrome silver rattle can to toutch up rusty spots, re toutch as neccessary.
splatshop
Yup, you can fit any of the following on your bike: 2001 Blue Rear Mudguard (Lacquered on sticker) 2002 - 2003 Sherco Blue Rear Mudguard 2004 - 2005 Silver Rear Mudguard I've seen the newer mudguards fitted, but its not easy.
