lpd
I have a question about my front end of my TXT200 trials bike. I noticed that it is very "springy" for lack of better words, and no matter how much I adjust the compression damping or rebound, to no avail does it reduce the "springiness" of the forks. The only work I've done to the front end is replace the seals and dust caps. I'm wondering if the adjusting cap which threads onto the adjuster top return rod (runs inside the spring) could be tightened down too much? Nothing else has been adjusted, spacers are stock ect. Same amount of fork oil, and same viscosity. I noticed that the cap threads into the rod and then intot eh fork tube up top. Perhaps I can back off the cap, reducing pressure on the spring, thus reducing the springiness? Anyone have an idea here? Thanks
