jonabonospen
Just about to get my first trials bike, a 2006 Beta 250 Rev3, and it is the first ever 2 stroke bike I will have owned. I assume I need to mix the 2 stroke oil and petrol myself first, but to what ratio / measurement? Also, if you are going tiding for the day then how much fuel do you tend to go through roughly? (just thinking of what size petrol / jerry can I am best getting).
earthmover
I use Rock synthesis 2 stroke oil, mixed at a ratio of 1.5% oil to petrol (that's 15 ml of oil to 1000 ml) which is roughly 70/1 in old money. I mix up 5 litres at a time and that will last my Beta 250 and my g/f's Sherco 125 for a trial and a bit. HTH Mark
