aazz
Sherco 320 4T 2009 It back fired and and misfired intermitedly for about 10 minutes and then stoped sparking.I checked all the connections they seem fine. with the spark plug out it some times sparks for a couple of kicks and then stops. Any ideas on what components may be at fault and how to test them.

splatshop
Hi, if the plug doesn't make a difference and all your earth's and connectors are clean and dry, try checking your stator plate, I've put a little guide on our website forStator Testing, it's not specific for your stator but I'm fairly certain you should get the same or similar readings. It is also worth checking the ignition coils primary and secondary resistances. Again your coil will be different but it should give similar readings.
