teedo
I decide that trial would be excellent think to try and I bought used 2004 GAS GAS 300. I ride enduro and this would be good way to improve my bike handling skills. It is in excellent condition and I would like to keep it that way. I have question about gear box oil. I am member of KTMTalk.com and there is also section about trial. Some guys there recommend special oil for gear box, because of the unique diaphragm clutch setup in GG pro Edited February 25, 2005 by Teedo
craftypiggy
First of all welcome to Trials, I'm sure it will improve your enduro skills cus of the control you have to have to control a trials machine. About your gearbox and premix oil... I use both IPONE BOX 2 SYNTHESIS gear box oil and IPONE 2 Stroke engine oil. I have never had any problems with either, especially the gear box oil, it is very good for trials bikes. Good luck, Lloyd

I am not sure, if I would be able get GM Autotrack there. Edited February 25, 2005 by Teedo

charliechitlins
It's always nice to be able to use cheap oil like ATF. That way you can feel good about changing it often.
sting32
The guy I bought mine from uses ROCK OIL, I like the idea, because it is CLEAR, when new, dirty when dirty. now to get more... LOL That GM oil was like 9 bucks a quart? jeebus
jtt
Beware that sythetic oils can cause swelling of the plates and lead to dragging. Stick with Dextron or the GM Autotrack...change frequently. These are the only fluids recommended by GasGas.
