Andy
It's a feature of the forums I switched on just to see what it was like. People then started having a bit of fun with it (check out Baldilock's reputation!) I'll switch it off again at some point as it's not really that useful, especially when folk (including me) are using it as a toy

Hay if people are having fun with it, leave it on. 1

Bottom right of every post - plus and minus symbols, but you can't vote on your own posts (I don't think)

andy m
It's a bit like the "thanks" button on money saving expert site, if people agree they can thank. This differs if people think you're talking crap you get a - I suppose .. Note to Andy, turn it off it's nonsense, like that facebook, it'll never catch on..... old trials fanatic
Problem is Andy, please dont laugh i'm being serious, that to some people it could be viewed as bullying especially when a post receives a number of negative responses not because of the content of the post but purely because of who the poster is. It's very easy for people to "gang" up on somebody and by and large, with a few exceptions, we know very little about the lives and backgrounds of the people who post on here. After all apart from a select few we all use nom de plumes. Wonder why that is? I dont include myself in the bullied category, had more than enough of that as a kid, but i just had to make the point which may not have been taken into account. If you intend to keep the facility and i see no reason why not then it may be more sensible to retain the + but remove the -. Just my twopennorth. 2
Andy
I've changed it so you can only "like" a post and removed reputation from users profile box - I think... I can still see it, but users shouldn't be able to. can someone confirm?
