chunkies
My sons 2008 gg cadet was bought new in 2009 from dealer. It hasnt been used that much tbh i would say about 40hrs max riding time. The gear oil has been changed when needed. It is becoming harder to get into first gear but is really hard to get into second and third. If youre stationary you really have to give it a real hard sharp pull to get it into gear.. It slips real easy from 1st into neutral though... Any thoughts !!!!! chunkies
My 10 year olds clutch on his 2008 gg cadet is quite hard for him to pull in. Its as stiff if not harder to pull in than my 2010 gg 250`s clutch Is there anything i can do to upgrade this for him to make it a lot lighter to control....... pete_scorpa3
Could the two issues be related? Maybe the clutch isn't operating correctly causing the gear selection to be stiff?
laser1
They are too stiff as New. You need softer springs. I believe you can get a set from John Shirt in the UK or Dale Malasik in the US. I know Dale replaces the Springs in all the Cadets he imports.
