rollo Posted March 29, 2011 Report Share Posted March 29, 2011 Hi all, i've got a strange thing; The rear brake on my beta rev4t 2008 brakes a lot better when the system gets wet. For as i can tell the disc is not damaged, the pad are not worn out, and there is no air in the system. Does anybody have a clue what causes the bad braking when the system is dry? rollo Posted March 30, 2011 Author Report Share Posted March 30, 2011 I'll try to roughen up the pads, lets see if that helps. The Calipers are not leaking, i'd checked that before. It's also not the tyre grip, in dry conditions the braking is bad. When i spray on a little water on the disc an caliper the brake works fine. Thanks for the suggestions.
