mik60ish
2011 GG TXT Pro 125cc My grandson and I have got new 2011 GG TXT Pro 125cc and we both fuffed to chuck with them there is one problem that we are having problems. With the bikes coughing and spluttering whilst doing the tight stuff its happened in trials and practising, they sound as if they are going to die then you give them a blast out in a high gear to clear them then they are OK. Has anyone had this problem with the new 125's and how to get over it! The carb needle has been raised to the top notch Main jet 105 Pilot 36 Choke 60 spare jet in tube supplied with bike 42 where does this one go? Using 91 petrol Castrol TTS 60/1 mix now but will probably go back to 70/1 which was used on previous GG's
wingandaprayer
Hi, the 42 jet is a alternative to the 36 pilot jet fitted in your bike. If your not sure how to set carb up maybe take them back to dealer and ask him to sort them for you.Hope this helps cheers
telecat
Gas Gas recommend at least 98 RON in their bikes in Europe but it's difficult to know how that relates to the fuel in New Zealand. On that basis you may need to alter the timing but check first to see if it was altered by the dealer.
