doughbouysherco
Can Cabestany topple Raga again tomorrow night? We think so, your views
bob
I think so, he has been getting better all the time. I am looking forward to seeing the results.
subira
No doubt Cabestany is a world class rider, but apparently he has trouble overcoming being nervous - not just a few 'jitters' but it totally affects his results. (I can't begin to imagine what it must be like at that level) Of the IWTC rounds I have seen on TV, he looks totally focussed this year - almost like he's a different rider, and has been getting the results he deserves. Like to see him 'mix it up a bit' and create a great end to the indoor season. The Outdoor should be interesting - what kind of shape will the 4RT be in come the 17th April ? If Raga or Cabestany can bag the first couple of rounds its going to be a hellava season for us spectators.
stuessenhigh
DOnt know about tonight...but Cabestany for the outdoor I reckon
cota kid
Nah! Doug for the outdoor. He's only loaned the trophy to Fujigas.
craftypiggy
I hope Cabastany does well, he deserves it and has been very focussed so far and like you say it's nice to have a bit of a mix going on, it makes it far more interesting and gets you on the edge of the seat!! nigel dabster
With raga in such devastating form I wouldn't bet on the 4rt being that much better outdoors than it has been.
cota kid
I seem to recall Raga being in devastating form indoor last year but he is unable to replicate it outdoors. He is the best indoor rider on the best indoor bike which is not neccessarily the right formula for outdoor trials. 1 Lampkin 2 Fujigas 3 Cabestany 4 Raga It will be interesting to see if Sherco or any other factories have the bottle to enter a 4 stroke outdoor and if they do even more interesting to see if it perform as well as the 4RT. nigel dabster
Whats bottle got to do with it, why would a factory such as Sherco who have a choice of 2 or 4 choose 4 if the rider wanted 2???
jtt
Whats bottle got to do with it, why would a factory such as Sherco who have a choice of 2 or 4 choose 4 if the rider wanted 2??? One word...Marketing Hopefully they don't go down that road and go with what the rider's want, although we'll never know.
doughbouysherco
Does anyone know of someone at the indoor to get some text results over?
jtt
Looks to be Raga again in Livorno, followed by Cabestany and Fuji.
cota kid
Montesa have the confidence to put their 4 stroke up against the proven 2 stoke machines. No other manufacturer, with the exception of Scorpa, can do this. If the indoor WTC was limited to 4 stroke bikes, Montesa would win. If the outdoor was limited to 4 stroke bikes, Montesa would win. nigel dabster
Hypothetically, possibly yes, assumes the Sherco 320 with cabestany on board would be no better than the 4rt works bikes excludes the 4rt showroom model I guess. Alot of conditions there though? Anyway rules are rules and it just so happens that 2 strokes are allowed and the Gas Gas with Raga on board is unbeatable, except for the odd Cabestany on a Sherco. Guest gasgastxtpro
I reckon Doug will do a lot better outdoors than in. The 4RT is getting better all the time so i reckon the bike will be in good shape for the outdorr season. Question is, what are all of these indoor results doing to the rider? GO DOUGIE!
